Can my SmartSource Professional detect double-documents?

The SmartSource Professional cannot detect double-documents when the documents overlap completely.

To generate a double-document error:
  1. Set the following option in your GenericOptions.ini file, either programmatically or manually:
         [OptionalDevices]
         NeedDoubleDocDetection=true
  2. Enable your Ranger options as usual by calling Ranger.EnableOptions().
  3. Tape two documents together.  They should completely overlap except for one inch.
  4. Process the taped items with your SmartSource.
  5. Ranger should report a double-document exception.
