How does feeding differ for the Cummins-Allison JetScan iFX?

Due to the mechanics and hardware of the Cummins-Allison JetScan iFX, feeding items does exhibit different behavior than other scanners.  If your application is feeding with specific feed counts (i.e. Feeding 10 documents) or requesting a stop feeding in the middle of a batch, then you can expect additional items to be feed into the machine that are not reported to the application.  All items that make it to pocket (are in the bottom tray) will be reported to the application.  Items that are stopped mid-track and not reported will be reported to the application once feeding is started at a later time.

It is important as an operator of the Cummins-Allison JetScan iFX to be aware of this issue so that all items fed can be accounted for.
