The Digital Check TS xxx scanners have an option called "DoubleFeedNoStop" which may significantly reduce false double-feed exceptions.
When this option is enabled, the scanner will not stop immediately when a the feeder's double-feed detector senses a suspect item(s). Instead the scanner will examine the image and MICR data to determine if it is a real double feed or a false positive. If the scanner determines it to be a real double feed, feeding will stop when the item reaches the pocket and a Ranger double-feed exception will then be fired.
This option can be set by editing the scanner's driver options file:
- DCCOptions.ini - In old versions of Ranger
- DigitalCheck-TSSeries.ini - In newer versions of Ranger
[Misc]
DoubleFeedNoStopEnabled = true
To set this option in your program, and any time after starting up Ranger and before enabling Ranger options, call :
Ranger.SetDriverOption("DoubleFeedNoStopEnabled", "true")
Note: This option is only active when double-feed detection is enabled in Ranger's generic options.
