Please make sure that you have run the "ExcellaUsbConfig" application. This application can be found in
[Start->All Programs->Silver Bullet Technology->Ranger for Excella->ExcellaUsbConfig].
1. Select "Refresh Network Connections"
2. Select "Search"
Note the connection type displayed. This should match the section below.
3. Select "Apply"
4. Select "OK" in the new window.
Make sure the ExcellaOpions.ini file shows following:
For USB connection:
[Device]
DeviceName = EXCELLA_USB
or
DeviceName = STX_USB
For Ethernet connection:
[Device]
DeviceName = EXCELLA_ETHER
or
DeviceName = STX_ETHER
